I love this game, but there's just a few things that I have to complain about that prevents me from wanting to play it all the way through.
1) Being the Warehog: I mean, it's a great idea, don't get me wrong, but it's just so slow. I get why they made him slow and all that but it just doesn't have a Sonic feel to it. Also, the levels are super long. I don't think I would have as big of an issue with how slow the Warehog is if the levels weren't so long. I love the attacks combos and the bosses, but it's just those things that I have a complain about. Oh, yeah, the music. It's okay music, but it seems like they used the same tape for every stage with only slight differences.
2) The idea that you have to collect a certain amount of those round star things (I forgot what they are called; sorry) to go on with the next stage: It's like I finally get through with the stages so I think I'm going to go on another stage just to find out that I have to do the same stage two or three more times to go to the next stage. I might sound impatient by saying this, but I just think it is a waste of time
3) Eggman Land: I think this is the most fun stage because there are so many obstacles and its really tricky if you have no idea where you are going, but if you loose all your lives you have to start all over again even if you only have one more section to go. I wouldn't have a problem with this if it wasn't so gosh darn long and hard. If there were checkpoints or something I would love it because of it's challenge. But since it's hard, long, and the slowness of the Warehog creature, I don't really have the fire (or whatever) to finish it all the way through.
But I have to give it some relief. I mean just look at those cut scenes. I haven't played all the Sonic games, but these are the best cut scenes I have ever seen in any Sonic game or any video game. Not just the cutscenes, but the quality of the whole game is just amazing. I also love the day time Sonic; It's super fast and challenging.
Well, I went on longer then what was necessary, but hopefully you agree with something I said.
